• Goal-oriented with a passion for making a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement creative fundraising ideas.

• Assist with planning and organizing fundraising events and campaigns.

• Utilize Facebook and Facebook Messenger to communicate with team members and supporters.

• Commit 1-3 hours per week to fundraising activities (the number of hours may vary depending on the event).

Vaccine Team Member

Are you passionate about the health and well-being of animals?

Grateful Friends Animal Rescue is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Vaccine Team as volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Administer booster vaccines to cats and dogs in our foster care program.

• Commit 1-3 hours per week, with flexibility depending on the number of fosters needing vaccinations.

• Utilize Facebook and Facebook Messenger to communicate with our team.

• Build positive relationships with fosters.

Qualifications:

• Must have access to Facebook and Facebook Messenger.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed.

• Committed and dedicated to the mission of Grateful Friends Animal Rescue.

• Comfortable giving booster vaccines to cats and dogs (experience preferred but willing to train if needed).

• Must reside on the west side of Winnipeg (St. James, Crestview, Charleswood).

As the Garden City Supply House, you will manage the storage and distribution of essential supplies such as pet food, litter, litter boxes, kennels, and more. Your role ensures that our foster families have the supplies they need to care for their animals, and that donations are efficiently processed.

Responsibilities:

• Store supplies including pet food, litter, litter boxes, kennels, etc.

• Facilitate drop-offs of donations (a drop-off bin can be provided by GFAR).

• Organize and facilitate the pick-up of supplies needed by foster families.

Qualifications:

• Access to Facebook Messenger for effective communication.

• A rodent-free area to store supplies

Benefits:

• Play a vital role in supporting our foster network.
