    Commitment:

    • Flag Concerns: Communicate any concerns or red flags to the adoption team to ensure the best match for the animal.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills and comfort with making phone calls.

    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate records.

    • Professional, respectful, and empathetic in all interactions.

    • Passion for animal welfare or prior knowledge about pet care is a bonus.

    Commitment:

    • This is a casual volunteer position.

    • New volunteers are encouraged to contact references for at least one application per week.

    Grateful Friends Animal Rescue is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Vaccine Team as volunteers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Administer booster vaccines to cats and dogs in our foster care program.

    • Commit 1-3 hours per week, with flexibility depending on the number of fosters needing vaccinations.

    • Utilize Facebook and Facebook Messenger to communicate with our team.

    • Build positive relationships with fosters.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have access to Facebook and Facebook Messenger.

    • Must reside on the west side of Winnipeg (St. James, Crestview, Charleswood).

    • Store supplies including pet food, litter, litter boxes, kennels, etc.

    • Facilitate drop-offs of donations (a drop-off bin can be provided by GFAR).

    • Organize and facilitate the pick-up of supplies needed by foster families.

    Qualifications:

    • Access to Facebook Messenger for effective communication.

    • A rodent-free area to store supplies
