Hi there! I’m Rooster, a spunky, energetic young guy who LOVES to be around people. I came from a northern community, where I was found during a spay and neuter clinic. A kind community member brought me in out of the cold, and now I’m ready to find my forever home!

Since joining the rescue, I’ve discovered how awesome people are. Going for walks? Count me in! Lounging on the couch? Perfect time for belly rubs! Even trips to the drive-thru are exciting - I’ll take a look at the menu!

I’ve been making great progress with house and kennel training. I know to ask to go outside for bathroom breaks, and I’m happy to relax in my kennel while you’re at work. I haven’t met many kids yet, but I think they’d be a blast - especially if they’re good at playing fetch, my favorite game!

When it comes to other animals, I’ve done well with dogs, though I sometimes need a little reassurance. Cats, on the other hand, are a bit of a mystery. They can intimidate me, but I’m learning to be brave. With supervision, I’m sure we can figure things out. I’ve even met some farm animals - they’re fun to watch and listen to!

I’m looking for a family who will take me on walks, play in the yard, and, most importantly, throw a ball for me! I thrive on human companionship, so having my family around often would be amazing. But if you have to leave for work, I’ll wait patiently in my kennel.
